Ruvuma Orphans association (ROA) established and registered as a regional organization on the 6th April, 2001 as a fully fledge non-governmental organization with registration number so No, 10883 offers a wide spectrum of community initiative with special attention to marginalized
groups, most likely the Key and Vulnerable Populations (Key Populations and Priority Populations).
In collaboration with the Ministry of Health and the President’s Office Regional Administration and Local Government (PORALG), ROA in partnership with FHI 360, is implementing a fiveyear global project funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the U.S Agency for International Development (USAID). The Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) project is dedicated to achieve and maintain HIV epidemic control. The project provides strategic technical assistance (TA) and direct service delivery (DSD) to break through barriers to 95-95-95 and promote self-reliant management of national HIV
programs by improving HIV case-finding, prevention, and treatment programming. ROA is implementing an HIV service delivery project among Key and Vulnerable Populations which aims to reduce HIV infections in pursuit of reaching the global 95-95-95 goals in Songea MC, Mbinga TC, Mbinga DC and Nyasa DC. To achieve these goals, the program will support targeted prevention and case finding strategies at community level among the targeted populations.
ROA is looking for highly motivated and self-driven individuals to fill the following vacancies in Mbinga Town Council in Ruvuma Region.

Duty Station: Mbinga TC
Report to: M&E Officer
Duration: 12 months
Main accountabilities and responsibilities

  • The Employee will be expected to do the following with the approval of the Employer or his supervisor: –
  • Ensure client records in ROA database and DHIS2 Data Entry Tracker are updated on a daily basis.
  • Ensure all client records are properly stored and monitored according to the National guidelines on storage of confidential client information.
  • Ensure all project reports are of high quality and are timely produced and submitted and entered into program reporting systems.
  • Conduct routine analysis of data and display of key set of HIV/AIDS indicator progress on a monthly/quarterly basis, and share findings with the ROA staff for use and for decision making.
  • Updating PLHIV master register /books and making sure that all exits are allocated in monthly basis.
  • Ensure all donor reporting requests are prepared and submitted as requested by the  M&E/Data Manager.
  • Participate in internal Data Quality Assessment on key indicator progress.
  • Conduct monthly data cleaning exercise for respective indicators reported.
  • Provide all the necessary support and assistance on data requests to EpiC program staff.
  • Provide on the job training on data management to volunteers and ROA technical staff.
  • Ensure that data clerk work desk/space is always clean and free of dust and other harmful
    material.
  • Perform any other duties as determined by the employer or his representative.

• Must have Computer skills and knowledge at least word and excel.
• High integrity and honesty
• Excellent presentation and communication skills (both spoken and written)
• Self-driven and results oriented
• Good inter-personal skills
