Welcome to the application for Help to Help Scholarships for first-year students in Tanzania for the academic year 2022/2023. This is just a sign-up form. If you meet our first assessment criteria, you will be able to proceed to the next step of the application.
Please make sure that you read the instructions carefully before you start!
Eligibility
General criteria
- Applicants must be of Tanzanian origin
- Applicants must be of age 18 – 30
- Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate course (certificate, diploma or bachelor) from the universities below ;
- Bulongwa Health Sciences Institute
- Kampala International University in Tanzania (Students within the Bachelor of Medicine & Health are not eligible to apply)
- Kilimanjaro Christian Medical University College (Moshi Campus only & only Diploma students can apply)
- Mbeya University of Science and Technology (Mbeya Campus only)
- Nlab Innovation Academy
- Sokoine University of Agriculture
- University of Dar es Salaam (Mwalimu Nyerere Campus only)
- University of Dodoma (Dodoma campus only)
NB: NB: For NLab only female applicants are qualified to apply
Do not apply if you have already graduated from post-secondary education.
Academic criteria
- Good academic grades from secondary school ;
- For Bachelor’s degree students, must have Division 1 or Division 2, or Division 3 in their form six certificates
- For Certificate or Diploma students, must have Division 1 or Division 2 or Division 3 or Division 4 in their form four certificates
Accepted field of study
We only accept applications from students taking degrees within the following fields:
- Agriculture including food science
- Engineering (Female students are highly encouraged to apply)
- Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
- Natural and Applied Sciences
- Medicine & Health
- Education in science studies
- Social Sciences including Business studies (except Fine and Performing Arts)

What does the Scholarship covers?
- Tuition fees
- Medical insurance
- Registration and examination fee
When tuition fee will be paid?
- March 2023, for your second semester
Help to Help will not pay for your 1st-semester tuition fee 2022/2023. You have to cover it by yourself.

No application fee is required
The application form is for free. Please note that Help to Help does not request nor accept any bribe of any kind in its operations. No one should charge you, therefore, do not give or receive a bribe of any kind in exchange for the application form nor any information in the application form or any other related processes.
Help to Help does its selection independently. If anyone demands any form of bribe from you for anything related to the Scholarship Process, please report the case directly to Help to Help’s Managing Director via email address complaints@helptohelp.se
