Deadline: 7-Mar-22
Agorize is seeking applications for achieving adaptation to climate crisis without neglecting anyone.
Global climate change has a detrimental impact on every living being on planet Earth. Changes to their climate are being documented and become more and more visible: an increase in extreme weather events such as droughts, heat waves, storms, wildfires, flooding and heavy rainfall.
According to the IPCC most probably more than 80% of the world’s population will be exposed to climate risks, and some particularly vulnerable regions are already producing the first generation of climate refugees.
Mitigation of climate change by reducing GHG emission in all sectors and countries is essential but adapting to its first effects and future consequences is also necessary and it is often a neglected issue.
