JVACEE is a joint venture company of Arab contractor and El-sewedy Electric, dealing with the scope of Engineering, Procurement and Construction of Julius Nyerere Hydropower Project in Stigler’s Gorge in Tanzania. It is expected to produce 2,115 MW of installed Capacity. We are looking for the below mentioned positions to be filled immediately.
Position Title: QC engineer-Mechanical Posts
JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
• 7-10 years’ experience of power plant, installation, turbine preassembly, fabrication & welding activities.
• Control of draft tube, piping, impeded ,…etc dimension and welding activities.
• Witness WPSs, PQRs and WQTs for approval as well as.
• Carrying out various onsite RFI (Request For Inspection) in co-ordination with Consultant and Clients as per Inspection and test plan/specifications.
• Assure the compatibility of welding process (before, during & after welding) with codes, standards, client specifications and approved procedures.
• Carry out a complete control on the welder performance
• Review all data/ doc., Supervise, conducting and interpreting NDT examinations (RT, UT, MT and PT}/ Review heat treatment charts.
• Preparing test packages including verification of welding completion, welding summary sheet to insure completion of welding &NDT testing as per project specification.
• Conducting system walk down and issue punch list, and follow up its clearance.
• Prepare MCC (Mechanical Construction Completion) package for different systems.
